Japanese organiser-extraordinaire Marie Kondo has a Netflix series, Tidying Up, and so it must be that Gwyneth Paltrow gets a Goop show on the streaming service, too.

As Variety reports, a Goop TV series will launch on Netflix by the end of 2019, continuing the rapid expansion of Paltrow’s lifestyle website to new platforms.

The show will “consist of 30-minute episodes hosted by the site’s editors, chief content officer Elise Loehnen and Paltrow,” the website reports.

“The team will utilize experts, doctors, and researchers to examine issues relating to physical and spiritual wellness.”

Variety notes Paltrow and her team want to “dial up the aesthetics and quality of storytelling surrounding issues like mental, physical and sexual health” – potentially in response to being criticised for publishing baseless claims. Goop has advised readers to, among other things, get stung by bees and cure depression by walking around barefoot.

For Paltrow, a TV show sees her come full circle, a return to the screen after stepping away from her acting career to focus on Goop. We should have known she’d be back.

Episodes of Goop TV I’d tune in for: Gwyneth doing a re-enactment of what really happened when she crashed into a man on the ski slopes, or an honest discussion about what it’s really like when your ex-husband tags along on your honeymoon.
