Harvey Weinstein has confessed to offering women movie roles in exchange for sleeping with him – but it doesn’t appear the disgraced mogul is remorseful.

In a new interview with the Spectator, accompanied by his lawyer, Weinstein said:

“Yes, I did offer [women] acting jobs in exchange for sex.

“But so did and still does everyone.”

He also appeared to attempt to justify preying on women, telling interviewer Taki Theodoracopulos:

“You were born rich and privileged and you were handsome,” he told Taki. “I was born poor, ugly, Jewish and had to fight all my life to get somewhere. You got lotsa girls, no girl looked at me until I made it big in Hollywood.”

Allegations of sexual assault by three women are currently before the courts in New York City. If found guilty on all charges, he could spend life in prison. Weinstein pleaded not guilty, is out on $1 million bail and wears an ankle monitor.
