Recently, a preoccupation with false lashes has blinkered any kind of constraints on size. Towering and mighty, lens-hitting, curly and colossal is an order – fake or not. To get the fanned and slightly wayward effect, the trick is to curl with vigour and separate into neat clumps with a thick, wet wand. Then, load it up appropriately (or inappropriately – depending on your level of subversion). Experiment with imperfect, temperamental and gloriously messy riffs on ’60s classics, or be inspired by Dior’s haute couture eye look with more streamlined exaggerated flicks. Full-bodied or light, lofty or lean – either way, get caught up in this new trend on the web.
