TRY THIS: SHIRT AS A DRESS This is pretty much what it says on the tin, and there’s really only one rule: make sure the shirt is a slim-fit version, to keep it remotely flattering. If you want to add definition, wrap a scarf around your waist and roll up your sleeves. Pair the shirt with dainty heels for an “Oops! I forgot my clothes!” look, or throw a distressed denim mini over the top a la Rihanna to totally own it.

Try this: Men’s shirt meets TOTAL FEMME It’s a complete clashing of themes and it totally works. Take one masculine men’s shirt and pair it with a delicate lace skirt or sequinned city shorts. Add chandelier earrings and a pair of killer heels, and keep hair and make-up ultra feminine. The men’s-shirt-and-girly-skirt-or-shorts combo works to give your look a bit of a flirty edge while keeping it pretty.

Try this: Cool BUT casual This off-duty look is easy to pull off, and yet looks like you went to heaps of effort. Grab your fave boyfriend jeans, and throw on your guy’s shirt. Tuck it in at the front so maintain a feminine silhouette (boyf jeans and men’s shirts can both run the risk of swallowing your figure, so pay attention). Sex it up by leaving the first few buttons undone and showing off a delicate bra. If you’re heading out to breakfast, some flat sandals or trainers will work perfectly. The beauty of this look, is that it transforms into an evening ensemble with a quick shoe change. Throw on a heel and you’re ready to hit the bar.
