As Bradley Cooper enters the vortex of Awards season, his partner, Russian bombshell Irina Shayk, is already proving her status as the ultimate arm candy (it does help when you look like that).

First, there was Sunday’s Golden Globes Versace gown, where Shayk seemingly took her inspiration from the gilded statue itself, wearing a bedecked gold dress with thigh-high split (naturally) and a brand new bob. And today, at The National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala in New York City, Shayk wore a chic, houndstooth twin-set with matching beret (NOT the kind you find in a second-hand store, by the way).

Whilst the designer of the ensemble remains unconfirmed (if the gold Medusa-capped button is anything to go by, our bet is Versace, because what else?), we are swooning over that perfectly placed beret. And to an Awards Gala? How stylish. And progressive. The burnt orange beret with thick black rim and singular gold button was the ultimate topper to Shayk’s new abbreviated lengths. Sitting atop her bob with that kind of perfect French leaning, her shorter lengths were curled with a natural kink (again, very French) and sat springy and buoyant beneath le beret.

If you needed any further proof that the hair accessory and le hat is the hair trend of the moment, this is it. Parfait, Irina! J’adore.
