What a nightmare this woman appears to be. Samantha Markle, the half-sister of the Duchess of Sussex has again attempted to get Meghan to contact her, albeit publicly of course. Perhaps the most disturbing part of Samantha’s latest plea is the fact she’s using her father’s ailing health as bait to call out and thus guilt Meghan into a reconciliation.
Under of the guise of an emotional Christmas card, Samantha begs Meghan to “end the rift with dad” citing he could pass away in the next year. According to The Mirror, Samantha fears her father – who reportedly suffers from serious heart complications, no much so he was unable to make Meghan’s wedding day – may not see another Christmas. “Holidays are a time for family and are sentimental,” she told the publication. “Dad has been trying to contact you and is very hurt because you are avoiding him. Life is short and you know Dad is wonderful. Please give him joy in his last years by showing you love him. The time is now.”
“I’m hoping that won’t be the case, but it would be tragic and sad if he doesn’t get to be around to resolve this,” she continued. “I think Meg would harbour a lot of regret if this were his last Christmas alive and she didn’t reach out and make things right. There is not another day or week guaranteed, so Meg needs to act quickly. The clock is ticking.”
The former Suits actress reportedly cut ties with her father and her family after it was revealed they staged paparazzi shots before her wedding to prince Harry in May of 2018.
Thomas Markle has since said his daughter has “ghosted” him. Mr Markle said he texts Meghan every day but she never responds, something he “doesn’t completely understand.”
