Over the weekend, Khloe Kardashian broke the internet – or, more specifically, TikTok – over the weekend when she casually debuted her new boyfriend, the actor Michele Morrone, who Netflix-trash lovers will know intimately as the star of the Netflix original, 365 Days.

While at the Dolce & Gabbana show, supporting her older sister, Kim, who was debuting her collaboration with the controversial brand (they’ve clearly forgotten when one of the house’s co-founders Stefano Gabbana once called them the “cheapest people in the world”), Kardashian posted a photo beside Morrone, leaning into the actor, who had his arms around her and looked like he was basically about to kiss her:

But despite the way the photo looks – romantic enough to prompt a shirtless selfie from Kardashian’s dirtbag ex Tristan Thompson –, apparently in reality, the two aren’t actually dating at all.

According to E! News, Morrone’s rep says, “There’s no relationship to speak of at all.” As for that photo, “the two were asked to take a photo together at the D&G show,” his rep says. “They obliged.”

While confirming that they are not dating, the rep did note Morrone thought Kardashian “was very nice.” Furthermore, he’s single: earlier this year he confirmed to People he is “absolutely single,” while Kardashian, who briefly dated a private equity investor after her split from Thompson, is also thought to also be on the market.

Given the world just watched the heartbreak and trauma Kardashian went through when she found out Thompson had impregnated another woman on the debut episode of the second season of The Kardashians that aired last week, I think I speak for everyone when I say, Koko deserves the world. Whether or not this could be the start of a flirty ‘the internet thinks we’re dating’ text exchange, in a similar way to Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s SNL set-up, only time will tell…
