Ivanka Trump has revealed she does not believe the women who’ve accused Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, and says to ask her about it is “inappropriate”.

Ivanka, who works in the White House as an adviser to her father, hit back when asked about the more than 15 women who’ve made allegations against the US President in an interview with NBC.

“I think it’s a pretty inappropriate question to ask a daughter if she believes the accusers of her father when he’s affirmatively stated that there’s no truth to it,” she said in a preview of the interview set to air next week on America’s Today show.

“I don’t think that’s a question you would ask many other daughters.”

She then confirmed that she does not think her father is lying.

“I believe my father. I know my father,” she said. “So, I think I have that right as a daughter.”

Some would argue that since Ivanka works in the Trump administration, it’s completely appropriate to be asked about the allegations.

For the record, the White House has repeatedly and consistently denied all the claims, which range from sexual assault to affairs and lewd behaviour.

“These false claims, totally disputed in most cases by eyewitness accounts, were addressed at length during last year’s campaign, and the American people voiced their judgment by delivering a decisive victory,” a White House spokesperson said.

“The timing and absurdity of these false claims speaks volumes and the publicity tour that has begun only further confirms the political motives behind them.”

Ivanka, who calls herself a feminist, was memorably called out for hypocritical behaviour in a Saturday Night Live skit starring Scarlett Johansson, Complicit.
