Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes were one of those Hollywood couples we were rooting for, but sadly, according to multiple sources, their relationship is no more.
Foxx, 51, and Holmes, 40, recently split after about six years together – much of which was spent keeping the relationship a secret, allegedly due to a clause in her divorce from Tom Cruise that forbid her to have a public romance for some years.
According to the New York Post, Holmes was recently overheard telling friends at New York City restaurant La Esquina she and Foxx had been over “for months”.
“What Jamie does is his business — we haven’t been together for months,” the actress reportedly told a friend over, we assume, over a margarita con fruta.
It comes as Foxx has been sighted with several different women in recent weeks, first sparking the speculation her and Holmes had gone their separate ways.
Last week he was seen looking close with an unknown woman at Hollywood celebrity haunt Delilah; days later he was pictured holding hands with up-and-coming singer Sela Vave at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood.
A brief peruse of Vave’s Instagram account revealed a photo of her and Foxx posted on June 30 with the caption, “I am so grateful to this man! Thank you so much @iamjamiefoxx for everything you do and for believing in me. #feelingblessed
Both Holmes and Foxx have children from previous marriages; Katie has daughter Suri, 13, from her relationship with Tom Cruise, while Jamie has two daughters, Corinne, 25, and Annalise, 10.
