P.E. Nation has long been Sydney’s unofficial weekend uniform (one lap of the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk will confirm that), but the brand’s reach has still travelled to all corners of the globe. An example of which is Jasmine Tookes fronting the recent Q3 campaign. Given that her lifestyle is a melange of wellness, work, and travel, the model (who has walked for the likes of Victoria’s Secret, Tom Ford, Prada and Versace) fits into the brand’s cool athleisure aesthetic perfectly. Co-founded in Sydney by Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning, the P.E. Nation brand is the blurring of lines between activewear, street wear, and the everyday. To mark the recent campaign, Tookes took a minute to share some rapid-fire wellness tips with Grazia, including her clean eating formula and tips for keeping active on the road. Keep reading for the interview.

GRAZIA: Do you have a favourite piece in the collection?

“I’m loving the P.E Nation Easy Run Reversible jacket and the Expedition leggings. It’s such a great set to get you through the day with minimal effort, whilst being fully functional and stylish.”

GRAZIA: What’s your current fitness routine look like?

TOOKES: “I’ve been doing a lot of Pilates lately. I love how it shapes and tones all of the smaller muscles that aren’t normally targeted during your workout.”

GRAZIA: What’s your go-to meal option?

TOOKES: “I like to have protein with every meal. Most of my meals include rice, a protein and lots of different veggies.”

GRAZIA: As a model, how has your relationship with your body changed over the years?

TOOKES: “When I was younger it was a lot harder for me to put on weight due to my metabolism. I still sometimes struggle, but I’ve learned my body actually reacts better when I’m working out and gaining muscle about three times a week. It’s all about learning and shifting things according to your lifestyle and your body.”

GRAZIA: What tips do you have for keeping healthy whilst travelling?

TOOKES: “I like to download fitness apps! That way I have them on my phone so I don’t have to go down to the hotel gym all the time. I also set a reminder on my phone to make sure I’m staying active for at least 20 minutes a day.”
