Consider this your warning to sort your Apple TV+ subscriptions. Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon (the latter in Celine) have arrived at The Morning Show‘s world premiere at the David Geffen Hall in New York City.

After many a headlines from interviews with Howard Stern, kisses with Ellen DeGeneres, flashbacks to Rachel and Jill Green, morning rituals that don’t involve eating and an Instagram Guinness World Record, the two most celebrated women in television are about to hit our silver screens. And we can’t tell who is more excited: Times Square or Witherspoon?

The duo have since reunited in The Morning Show, a new comedy-drama which follows the lives and relationships of the men and women on a popular morning news program. Also starring Steve Carrell, the show will premiere on November 1 on the new streaming service Apple TV+.

“Our characters are two people with very similar goals but different ideologies because of their backgrounds,” Witherspoon explained recently. “Jen’s character existed in a world that was dominated by men. Just the fact that she existed was all that mattered. My character is like, ‘Hold on, no, no, no. If you’re not bringing other women with you, what are you doing?’ [The women are] not antagonistic or competitive. It’s second-wave feminism meets fourth-wave feminism.”
