Creative director, model and stylish offspring of Carine Roitfeld, Julia Restoin Roitfeld, has launched a new collection with The Outnet’s in-house brand, Iris & Ink. And true to the Roitfeld DNA, it’s all-black.

The exclusive capsule, the first collaboration of its type for Iris & Ink, consists of six limited-edition styles, which launch on the luxury retailer today. A collaborative effort, each piece has been carefully designed by Julia and Iris & Ink and herald the impending party season.

The specifically curated edit includes five little black dresses – a sexy silk slip, a cocktail mini dress, a leather long-sleeved dress, a tuxedo blazer dress and a full-length velvet gown – alongside a contemporary tailored jumpsuit. The capsule collection taps Julia’s signature style; a mix of sensual femme fatale and that ineffable French nonchalance, there is both an effortlessness and elegance at play.

With its all-black palette, the collection is rendered in luxurious fabrications of silk, velvet and lace, with each piece speaking to a moment in time for Julia, reflecting her modern global lifestyle.

“This project really embraces two great passions of mine, style and design,” she says of the collection. “I’m honoured to have been asked by The Outnet to collaborate on this very special collection for Iris & Ink. I have always had a vision of creating a collection of dream pieces that are inspired by my everyday closet and those that I could wear forever. This collection was created in mind for the modern woman. Someone who wants to look good and dress up but also feel comfortable and enjoy good quality; something that I know resonates with the Iris & Ink customer. Whilst each of the six pieces has their own personality, they are a reflection of me and my ‘everyday uniform’. I hope a lot of women can recognise themselves in this collection.”

The Julia Restoin Roitfeld x Iris & Ink Collection is available from October 16 on The Outnet
