Julia Roberts has a string of iconic roles to her name: Pretty Woman. Erin Brokovich. Notting Hill. Sleeping With The Enemy. And of course, My Best Friend’s Wedding.

Now Roberts, 50, has teased that she’s interested in revisiting one of her most beloved characters – Julianne Potter in My Best Friend’s Wedding.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Roberts said she was tempted to play Vivian from Pretty Woman again, but thought Julianne’s story would have more to offer.

“I guess I think maybe it’s just because we’re talking about Dermot [Mulroney, her co-star in Wedding and on the new Amazon series Homecoming],” she told EW.

“But Rupert [Everett, who played Roberts’ gay BFF] was so funny in My Best Friend’s Wedding. I guess Kimmy (Cameron Diaz) and Michael (Mulroney) are married and they probably have kids. And then there’s me and Rupert.”

But the best part? Mulroney is on board, too.

“I’ll tell you that movie has wormed its way further and further under my skin, and I see more and more layers of how it holds meaning and sustains as a piece, and obviously it’s always been irresistible,” he told the publication.

“I think there’s only about four people on Earth that could make a movie like that, and they include Rupert, Cameron, Julia, and me. So, let’s have at it.”

It sounds like a non-negotiable to us. And if anyone can make it happen, it’s Julia.
