Bella Hadid isn’t the only one upset about The Weeknd and Selena Gomez’s apparent new relationship.

We can add Selena’s ex Justin Bieber to that list after he made some inflammatory remarks about The Weeknd as he left a Los Angeles restaurant on Saturday.

When a TMZ cameraman teasingly asked Justin if he listens to the Starboy singer –  who was pictured kissing Selena, Justin’s on-and-off girlfriend of five years – apparently he couldn’t help but take the bait.

“Hell no, I can’t listen to a Weeknd song,” Justin responded as he climbed into a waiting car. “That sh*t’s whack.”

It’s a typically childish response from Bieber who, let’s face it, can only act like a grown up for so long before he throws a temper tantrum. The fact that his first love and long-time partner until 2015 has not only moved on, but with one of Justin’s biggest music industry rivals, clearly has him feeling a bit sore.

This could all come to a head at next month’s Grammys, where Justin is likely to attend since he’s nominated in several of the major categories, including Album Of The Year for Purpose and Song Of The Year for Love Yourself.

Meanwhile The Weeknd is set to perform, as well as Adele, John Legend and others.

If Selena and The Weeknd make their red carpet debut as a couple, we could see one of the most dramatic scenes at the Grammys since Kanye West famously interrupted Taylor Swift’s speech in 2009.

Speaking of Kanye, he and Kim Kardashian might choose to overshadow all of this by making their first red carpet appearance together since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in October. It certainly sounds like something Kimye would do.

We don’t have too long to wait to find out: the Grammys are happening on February 12 (that’s February 13 in the AM for Australia).
