To be perfectly frank, Karlie Kloss was the hardest working ‘white tie tech’ MVP at today’s Met Gala.

In an artful yet understated Brandon Maxwell capelet dress that has gone from strength to strength throughout the evening, the supermodel made the transition from hotel room, to red carpet to Gala to after party without losing a hot second. It’s a technical marvel, which is only apt considering this year’s exhibition theme, Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.

This afternoon, Kloss posted the following video to Instagram to demonstrate how you too can achieve maximum mileage out of a one-night-only investment dress, albeit using some pretty old fashioned methods.

A word of warning though: leave this one to the extremely well paid and the extremely talented.
