Katy Perry and Taylor Swift’s long-running feud was only a rumour until Calvin Harris, during his very public break-up with Taylor, revealed she tried to “bury” Katy, just as we’d all suspected.

Now, in a clear move to throw shade at their shared mutual enemy, Katy and Calvin are collaborating together. The DJ, real name Adam Wiles has announced his first studio album in three years, and shared the line-up of artists to feature on his new tracks.

Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 is due out on June 30 and will include a track starring Katy, and interestingly another of his ex’s enemies – Nicki Minaj. Nicki and Taylor had major beef on Twitter in 2015 when Minaj vented that her Anaconda video wasn’t nominated MTV Video of the Year. In a reference to Taylor’s Bad Blood video receiving a nomination, Nicki tweeted “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.”

Taylor hit back, tweeting at Nicki “I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.”

Calvin’s new album will feature a host of other major artists, including Future, Snoop Dogg, John Legend, Big Sean, Frank Ocean, Migos, Young Thug, Pharrell Williams, and Ariana Grande.

The news of Katy and Calvin’s collaboration comes as Perry addressed her feud with Taylor in a new interview this week. She gave a cryptic response when asked if her new album, due out this year, would respond to Swift’s Bad Blood, which is allegedly about her and their long-running feud.
