The headline is true but it’s not what you think. Kendall Jenner’s “fraternal twin brother” Kirby Jenner is actually getting his own television show with the supermodel and her mother Kris Jenner playing executive producers.

Kirby is a performance artist known largely for his parodies of Kendall. Amassing 1.2 million followers online, he will photoshop himself into Kendall’s life like on the cover of a magazine, an ad campaign with Kendall’s sister Kylie or on stage with Taylor Swift. The show, however, will reportedly chronicle the day-to-day happenings of the Instagram star.

“The ‘unsung hero’ of the Kardashian/Jenner family, Kirby is ready to step in front of the camera for the first time – with full support of his mother and manager, Kris Jenner,” says the show’s logline. “The series – the latest offshoot of E!’s flagship Keeping Up With The Kardashians – will feature Kirby’s interactions with all members of the blended family, including sisters Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie.” It will air on new streaming service Quibi (reportedly short for “quick bites”)

We are a little sceptical of the longevity of such a series but perhaps that’s the point – and when anything is endorsed by a Kardashian/Jenner, it’s usually worth a look at least.

The short form series is also executive produced by Ryan Seacrest and Howie Mandel and licensed from NBC Universal and E! Entertainment.

More to come.
