If there’s one family who can turn feminine, floral, fantastical fashion provocative and perverse, it’s the Kardashian / Jenner clan. Arriving at the Emmys today, Kendall Jenner was a vision in Richard Quinn’s spectacular rose-strewn mermaid gown. Strapless and sculptural, it was fitted through the body via a contoured bodice, while its skirt fanned out at the bottom with incredible drama and volume culminating in a fountain of fabric at the back. Quinn’s signature blown-out graphic blooms sprouted in bold pink, red and black, but perhaps even more dramatic was the skin-tight latex turtleneck underneath, the glossy black top turning Quinn’s floral romanticism into a dark but very sexy red carpet fantasy.

Slicked back hair and a jet-black mani completed the look, one which subverted traditional Emmy’s red carpet dressing. Sister Kim attended with Jenner in a black velvet bodice and skirt by Vivienne Westwood which too erred on the naughty side (and Slims, which she spruiked on her Instagram story), but it was Kendall’s latex moment which proved the most noteworthy.

Nothing like a little latex to get the party started.
