It seems that while Selena was taking a plunge into bright nail options, Kendall Jenner was brushing up her nail art skills. Taking a break from walking the New York Fashion Week runways, Kendall stepped out in a crisp, white Toni Maticesvski jumpsuit with a statement manicure that even a nail art newbie could master.

Firstly start with a clear base coat, and paint half the nail in a royal blue shade – the wavier and less perfect the divide, the better. Add a thin accent of silver, to give it that eye-catching touch, and seal with a top coat. In terms of nail art this SS17 season, the freehand dashes and marks at Proenza Schouler gave the nude nail a chic update, while Jeremy’s Scott’s oversized, accent dots in an array of bright colours would give any outfit a novel, and cheeky touch.

On the other end of the spectrum was Libertine. The technicolored label by Johnson Hartig matched their outspoken designs with otherworldly, 3D nail art designed by Heather Davis, and Jan Arnold with nail care brand CND. Featuring bedazzled, rhinestone, and accents that cater to every persuasion (including fluffy, plush nails) the 25-set collection took over 300 hours to craft.
