Despite allegations he’d been cheating on her surfacing hours before she gave birth to their baby, Khloe Kardashian was said to be “not even mad” at Tristan Thompson.
But the euphoria of being a new mum appears to be wearing off – Khloe is said to be so angry and disappointed in Tristan their relationship is “hanging by thread”.
A Kardashian family insider told TMZ that Khloe’s post announcing the baby girl’s name, which put up a united front for her and Tristan as “mum and dad” is all a façade – maybe for the benefit of their someday internet-reading daughter, if not the world watching right now.
In reality, their relationship is “in shambles”. They are barely speaking despite Khloe being at the NBA star’s Cleveland home with the newborn.
“We’re told once Khloe’s medically cleared to fly, she’s getting the hell outta Dodge and bringing True back with her to L.A,” the site reports.
“Aside from being the baby daddy, Tristan’s status with Khloe is tenuous at best.”
Meanwhile, it turns out the decision to name the baby True was made some time before Khloe found Tristan had been being, well, the opposite of true.
Kris Jenner revealed on Instagram overnight that the name True has a tradition in their family.
“My Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton ….my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton … so I am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!!” Kris wrote.
She also confirmed True Thompson already has an Instagram account by tagging the username @True in the post. There are no posts, but she already has more than 150,000 followers.
