It’s only Wednesday but this week is already cementing itself as a landmark one for stealth celebrity hair transformations.
First Victoria Beckham lobbed off her tumbling brunette waves for a very Posh Spice-like bob, and now Christina Aguilera, Khloe Kardashian and Ariana Grande have followed suit with an array of mane changes of their own.
Steadily taking her hair higher lighter for months, Khloe Kardashian has revealed her shortest blonde bob to date. Her long-time hairstylist, Jen Atkin (who also counts Chrissy Tiegan, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner amongst her many A-List clients) revealed the chop on her Instagram saying: “Fresh ‘just hits the shoulder,’” followed by, “I always dreamt of KOKO with shirt hair…dream come true guys.”
With Khloe known to take her her hair up and down with less predictability than a Keeping Up With The Kardashians ratings report, it’s unsure if she’ll keep this fresh length for long, or load her hair up with extensions by her next selfie.
Someone who isn’t as experimental with her hair is Ariana Grande, so it was surprising to see the singer sans her trademark ponytail and several shades lighter on her SnapChat.
The Dangerous Woman revealed her lighter blonde lengths and showed that sometimes the most subtle hair changes make the boldest statement.
And finally making the boldest move of the week (so far) was Christina Aguilera, who took her signature blonde hair to a Jessica Rabbit red overnight.
While we’re used to seeing the signer shift her hue on the regular, this fiery look is easily one of best yet.
Call it a knock-on effect from the change of season, but these latest celebrity transformations are the ultimate antidote to a mid-week slump. Who knows where the week of hair shifts will take us next.
