Less than a week since Kim Kardashian stepped out in a satin pink micro-dress (did anyone else get Pretty Woman vibes?) the mother of three has hit the red carpet in another Barbie-like pink number.

Shiny sprayed-on look? Tick. Clear plastic shoes that show off your perfect pink pedicure? Tick, Tick. Kitschy designer bag encrusted with diamontes and dark razor shades? All the ticks remaining.

The beauty touches – bobbed hair so straight it looks like silk (clearly a wig given her long, long extensions at Kylie’s bash… or is it the other way around?) and faux tanned skin glossed with a golden sheen evident in the close-up photo of her bag below.

The end result? Kardashian Barbie 1.0 in all her photo opp glory, a look that surely ticked all of five-year-old daughter North’s boxes.

The occasion that prompted all of this pro-faux polish part explains her retro look, which was an ode to the ’90s. The reality star joined dozens of big names at the Christie’s x What Goes Around Comes Around 25th Anniversary Auction Preview in Beverly Hills, California.

Fashion enthusiasts will recognise WGACA as the high-end vintage fashion store. It’s provided fodder for countless vintage hunters and stylists over the decades, including Sex and the City‘s Patricia Field, and now sells its pre-used wares on top fashion etailer Shopbop as well as its own online store.

Little surprise then that Kardashian’s pink Versace dress was vintage, from WGACA. The French Fries Rainbow clutch bag is by Judith Leiber Couture, and while it’s now sold out, bags of this type typically retail for around US$5000 at department store Neiman Marcus.

Her doll-like transparent PVC pumps were Yeezy Season 5. After all, what’s a Kardashian public outing without a little family business plug?
