Kim Kardashian has opened up on how Keeping Up With The Kardashians handled filming amid Khloe and Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal.

In a new interview ahead of KUWTK season 15 premiering next week, Ryan Seacrest asked Kim how much of the scandal was filmed for the show.

Kardashian admitted it was tough deciding whether to have the cameras rolling as Khloe faced the fact she’d been cheated on, as she went to into labour with baby True.

“It was definitely new territory for us when you have a new baby coming into the world,” she told Seacrest.

“I think ultimately we always want her to be happy, but it gets all clouded when there’s a baby, you know? Her motherly instincts kicked in and she has to do what makes her happy so we’ll support that.”

Kardashian admitted there were “tough conversations” about Tristan’s cheating between Khloe and her sisters and mom Kris Jenner.

“We definitely all had that conversation and honestly I don’t want to give too much away because we genuinely had those conversations,” Kim replied.

“And sometimes we were filming and sometimes we weren’t and it was more maybe when Khloe wanted her privacy and no cameras when she was in Cleveland going through that, [but] the sisters were still all filming and talking [about] how to approach it and what to do.”

The next season of KUWTK looks to be an intense one. In addition to the cheating scandal, three babies have born into the family since the last season – Chicago, True and Stormi – and some serious drama looks to be going down with Kourtney.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians season 15 airs in Australia on August 6.
