Even at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, Kirsten Dunst had one of the most enviable accessories in the room: her recently acquired engagement ring.
This month it was revealed the actress is engaged to Fargo co-star Jesse Plemons (who might be best recognised as Landry Clark in Friday Night Lights), and she didn’t mind showing off the enormous sparkler as she sat front row at Ralph & Russo.
The oval-shaped stone set in a yellow-gold band with baguette accents has been estimated by experts to be worth around AUD $100,000.
Last year the 34-year-old, who is understood to have been in a relationship with Plemons for less than a year, said that if she got married it wouldn’t be an over-the-top event.
“I am someone who wants to get married. If it happens in my mid-to-late 30s, it’s going to be intimate,” she told ELLE UK. “Courthouse, dinner party and DJ with friends and family. I’ll treat it like it would be my 40th birthday.”
Last year it was reported that Dunst is set to make her feature film directorial debut with a big screen adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s 1963 novel The Bell Jar, which will star Dakota Fanning, with production beginning in the first quarter of this year.
