Kylie Jenner is “reeling” from the news her best friend Jordyn Woods had an affair with Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian’s boyfriend and baby daddy.
Yesterday the news broke that Khloe and Tristan, who share baby daughter True, had broken up for good after Tristan and Jordyn were seen kissing at a party.
And according to E! News, Kylie has been “reeling” at the revelation Jordyn, who reportedly lives with Jenner, could betray the family in this way. Jenner was “in denial for days” after hearing about the hook-up, and “is very torn on how to handle the situation.”
But, the website says, Jenner knows the writing is on the wall for their friendship after the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan vowed to shut out 21-year-old Woods.
“The whole family is writing Jordyn off.”
Kylie and Jordyn have been best friends for at least seven years. After becoming close in high school, Jordyn became an honorary member of the family, attending Kim and Kanye’s wedding in Italy in 2014, accompanying Kylie on countless holidays and work trips, even sitting front row with her at New York Fashion Week.
She’s clearly financially benefitted from her closeness with the Kardashian-Jenners. As well as starring in campaigns for Kylie Cosmetics and Khloe’s Good American label, Jordyn launched her own plus-size active-wear clothing range, Secndnture, an opportunity she almost certainly would not have had if not for her association with one of the world’s most famous families.
Just in September, Jordyn collaborated with her mogul best friend on a Kylie Cosmetics collection. In a promotional video for the range, Kylie gushed:
“Jordyn and I have had a true unmatchable relationship and I consider her family. She’s helped me remain methroughout all these years.”
Meanwhile, Khloe is said to be stunned and hurt that Tristan would cheat on her again, and that it was with Jordyn, of all people – someone she adored.
“Khloe is more disappointed that someone so close to their family would betray her,” an insider told the website. “She can’t believe it.”
“She is angry more than she is sad. And she’s shocked Jordyn would do this. Of all the guys in the world, she can’t fathom why Jordyn would make a decision like this.”
The person contemplating that more than anyone is undoubtedly Kylie.
