Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have been together for just over a year – and have a daughter – but look for photos of them together and you’ll only find a handful.

It’s unusual for a Kardashian-Jenner, and that’s exactly the point. Kylie and Travis are hoping their relationship can escape the ‘Kardashian curse’ – the trend of men who date women in the famous family and end up hurt by the fame machine.

“They come and can’t handle it,” Kylie tells the latest issue of America’s GQ, in which the parents of Stormi, five months, posed for a rare photoshoot together.

When asked if she thinks rapper Travis is okay with the amount of attention on him as a member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, she explained:

“I don’t think he’s really cool with it, but he deals with it, because we love each other and we have a family.

“For sure, I know he doesn’t like the attention. That’s why we just go the extra mile to keep our relationship super private, or like, if he has events or something, I won’t come. Because I want him to do his own thing. I want him to be him.

“If people don’t ever see us together, that’s okay with me, because we just do our thing,” she said.

In the interview, the allegedly self-made billionaire revealed she and the Bufferfly Effect rapper had a fight the day before – so she got on a plane to see him for a few hours.

“It wasn’t even about anything really specific. I was just overwhelmed. And then we made up an hour later. I just flew to Houston to see him for a few hours … ‘Cause we were fighting, and I was like, I just need to go. I didn’t tell anyone where or why.”

Guess you can do that when you’re a billionaire – self-made or not.
