Between the drama that was Forbes naming her a “self-made” billionaire to that shoot with boyfriend Travis Scott and GQ, Kylie Jenner – like most of the Kardashians – is always at the forefront of unfavourable headlines.
But today, the new mum turned this on its head stepping out in Manhattan in New York City completely fresh-faced and filler-free. And her transformation proves less really is more. Take a look at the comparison from even just two days ago and in 2017.
Jenner announced two weeks ago her plans to remove her famous lip fillers. “During Kylie’s pregnancy, she wasn’t getting her usual fillers or putting on much makeup,” a source close to the star told Entertainment Tonight. “Kylie really fell in love with the natural look, and wanted more of that, so she decided to stop putting filler in her lips.”
“Despite the fact that Kylie is a master of branding and has made an almost billion-dollar business off her lips and cosmetics, once Stormi was born, Kylie realised she was a mother first, and that is a big reason she has been sporting the more natural look,” they continued. “Kylie is a master of branding, and she plays with the concept of mother—the more natural look—and her Kylie Cosmetics look, full glam.”
Her appearance in Manhattan marks the first time since 2014 that we’ve seen Jenner filler-free.
