Another week, another celebrity holiday on sunnier shores. This time it was Kylie Jenner, who opted for a tropical getaway to the Turks & Cacicos in the Bahamas to celebrate her 19th Birthday. Holidaying with her nearest and dearest (the guest list included her sister, Kendall , boyfriend Tyga, and BFFs Hailey Baldwin, Bella Hadid, and Justine Skye) at the exclusive Pearls of Long Bay Estate, courtesy of Airbnb.

Real estate aside, Kylie’s intention to spend her birthday in full relaxation mode was clear and she had makeup routine to follow suit. While the teenager is known for her statement lips, and dramatic eye looks, this time she stuck to a very natural, if not totally bare, base. Although whether or not Jenner is actually wearing makeup is debatable, she undeniably looks fresh-faced and radiant, with her freckles on full show, and standout brows, that were probably tinted beforehand. However, the true MVP of her pre-holiday beauty routine proved to be the set of wispy eyelash extensions, that definitely lifted her no-makeup/ makeup grey area selfie to enviable heights (pun intended).
While we wouldn’t be surprised if this launched a resurgence of eyelash extensions and long, flirty falsies, we must first extoll the addictive nature of eyelash extensions. If you’re not prepared for the commitment and upkeep (they require touch ups every 3-4 weeks as per lash cycle) either consider traditional falsies – strip lashes, or the more delicate, individual variety. Otherwise to give your flutter a full head start, opt for a souped-up lash serum, or serum infused mascara to encourage volume and growth.
