Poker Face. Born This Way. Telephone. Just Dance. Million Reasons. And closing with Bad Romance. Lady Gaga really was up there with the seasoned talents of Beyoncé as she performed at the Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show today in Texas. But it was the beginning of her performance that captured the most emotion. While rumours spread in recent weeks that Gaga was going to stage a political stunt against President Trump – a theory the NFL dismissed – the singer aptly opened the halftime show standing on top of the stadium singing one of the United States’ most famous folk songs This Land Is Your Land, a poignant and pointed message to the President amidst it’s controversial views on immigrants namely muslims. She did so while surrounded by hundreds of drones lighting up around her as “stars”. Take a peek:

Flying across the stadium in Versace, Gaga – who sang live – then delivered all of our favourite hits.
