You’ve got to hand it to her, she knows how to make an entrance. Like a film star of old, Lady Gaga has arrived at the 24th annual Critics’ Choice Awards with perfect pin curls and classic makeup.
Recalling the beauty of Old Hollywood, all the makeup classics were there: the strong bold brow, dramatic fluttery lashes and a romantic pink lip, Lady Gaga looked every bit the film star. And despite the look conjuring old world beauty reminiscent of the past, there was one particularly modern touch: a sweeping of frosty pink sparkle across the eyelid. Makeup perfection.
Hair, too, summoned the sirens of old: perfect pin curls which grazed the shoulder with glamour. A deep side part added to the drama, slicked to one side and flicked out faultlessly, it’s a hairstyle she’s been particularly fond of lately, repping a similar style at The National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala just last week.
Elegant and polished; there’s no denying it, Lady Gaga continues to clock red carpet beauty. And we’re only just getting started.
