I have a new appreciation for US television host Andy Cohen. He is beginning to lose his tag as “That guy on Bravo who hangs with the Housewives of every county” to “The only host who can get a celebrity to dish on a contentious headline”.

His latest scoop came courtesy of Lena Dunham. The former Girls actress appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen where she was asked which of Taylor Swift’s ex-lovers was her least favourite. Dunham was ironically sitting next to Maggie Gyllenhaal at the time – whose brother, actor Jake Gyllenhaal, dated the I Did Something Bad in 2010. (Swift’s single All Too Well is rumoured to be about him – and those lyrics “Left my scarf there at your sister’s house” is meant to be a reference to Maggie.)

“I want to do right by her on this question … My least favourite was Calvin Harris,” said Dunham. “Because I felt he was petty in the public, and who needs to do that?”

Swift and Harris (real name Adam Wiles) came to an abrupt end in 2016 when Harris accused Swift taking writer’s credit for his track This Is What You Came For (which she co-wrote) and her new relationship with boyfriend at the time, Tom Hiddleston. “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do,” Harris tweeted at the time. Ouch.
