Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole have named their one-month old son, according to reports.
A source has confirmed to The Sun that the new parents named their first son Bear, officially deciding on the name just days ago after welcoming him on March 22.
Cheryl, who is 10 years Liam’s senior, admitted they were struggling to settle on a name when she announced the birth of her son on Instagram, writing “We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts.”
He’s not the first celebrity offspring to be named Bear; Kate Winslet and Alicia Silverstone also have sons with the same name.
Liam and Cheryl announced Bear’s birth via Instagram posts to their personal accounts last month.

“My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow!” Liam, 23, captioned the photo. “I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.”
He also made a beautiful tribute to Cheryl, 33.
“I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true.”
The pair are believed to have started dating in December 2015 when Fernandez-Versini divorced her husband, Frenchman Jean-Bernard after 19 months of marriage.
Liam first met Cheryl in 2010 when he was just 17 years old competing on the UK’s X Factor television show, in which his now-girlfriend was a judge.
