She’s married to a rock star and shot to stardom as a swimsuit model, but Swift Squad founding member Lily Maud Aldridge just pulled off somewhat of a designer world coup.
One of the most (if not the most) luxurious jewellery brand to the stars, Bulgari, has just named the Victoria’s Secret model and wife of Kings of Leon singer Caleb Followil the new face of its brand for the next 12 months. What makes the new gig extraordinary is that previous ambassadors have all tended to be Hollywood stars with a high-fashion bent.
Still, as this stunning teaser campaign shot of a regal-looking 31-year-old proves, there will be no hint of her sultry Sports Illustrated swimsuit past in the advertising campaign shot by legendary photographer Mario Testino set for release in October.

In fact, the LVMH-owned luxury house goes as far as to call the California-born, Nashville-based model “a sun-kissed Mediterranean Renaissance beauty” who embodies “the magnetism of the historic Roman jeweller, conveying a charisma and sensuality that render her into the ultimate Bulgari muse”. Pairing Aldridge and Testino, it continues, is “a Bulgari match made in aesthetic heaven”.
We can’t help but agree.
“I feel privileged to represent this exquisite Maison, to be one of the sparkling stars in the Bulgari constellation,” Aldridge has said, stating what’s clearly the obvious. After all, what woman wouldn’t want to be draped in million dollar jewels she didn’t have to pay for?
