Lily Collins is making a stance against boring black eyeliner.
Arriving at the London of premiere of Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile drenched in Elie Saab sequins, the young actress also made a bold beauty statement. Wearing a dramatic winged line, Collins subbed traditional carbon black for a bright cobalt blue, with makeup artist Polly Osmond painting the perfect feline flick in the electric shade. Playing beauty homage to the gown and sapphire earrings, the bolt of blue was amped with glitter, as Osmond flecked the lash line with silver sparkle.
The rest of the look was classic Collins; rosy and refined with those perfect arches neatly groomed and gelled. Hair was interestingly kept undone and messy, with wispy tuffs flying in that cool London breeze.
It’s been a big month of beauty for Collins. She’s been repping inky dark lips, rust-hued eyes and most notably, a conceptual chalky wing at the ‘Les Miserables’ premiere in New York City. Sweeping and avant-garde, the ice blue wing swallowed up the entire lid with a powdery finish and extreme spider lash.
Bold, brave and all kinds of spectacular, it seems Collins loves a challenge when it comes to beauty. And we love her for that.
