Chanel has named Australian actress Margot Robbie as the new fragrance ambassador for the House.
Since 2018, Margot Robbie has been a fashion ambassador for the luxury French brand, fronting the COCO NEIGE collection (Fall-Winter 2018-2019), but as of today can now add beauty ambassador to her Chanel reign. “It’s a dream to represent such a timeless and iconic brand,” Robbie said in an official statement. “The history of the Chanel woman is so exciting and the brand has remained such a powerful feminine standard of style.”
The Australian-born actress first earned international acclaim for her breakout performance alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf Of Wall Street directed by Martin Scorsese. Most recently, she was nominated for an Oscar for her portrayal of Tonya Harding in the film I, Tonya, which she also produced through her company LuckyChap Entertainment, a platform for female directors and writers. And next month, she stars in the highly anticipated Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood alongside Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.
There’s no word as yet on which fragrances she will lend her beautiful face to, but the brand is set to launch a string of exciting new scents later this year.
