Mariah Carey has cancelled her tour of Australia and New Zealand – again.

The We Belong Together singer was set to perform four concerts, including shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland, but it was announced overnight that Mariah has been forced to postpone the appearances due to a “schedule conflict”.

It’s the second time the dates have been postponed. Carey was originally set to tour Australia and New Zealand in February, but pushed back to this September and October.

“It is with much regret that I am unable to visit Australia & New Zealand later this year,” the 48-year-old said. “However I promise to find new dates soon.”

“I’ve been working away on new music and I cannot wait to share it with you later this year.”

New music from Mariah is great, but it’s not the same as hearing her hit the high notes IRL. What a Heartbreaker. Maybe One Sweet Day she’ll finally tour our fair nation. If not, Mariah’s Australian fans might forget her.

Those who bought tickets will receive a refund.
