When it comes to Fashion Week, it’s behind the scenes where all the magic really happens. From conceptual makeup to sculptural hair ‘dos; the backstage arena of Fashion Week plays host to the best beauty Australia has to offer. Watch all the action unfold with Anthony Nader, and GRAZIA Beauty Editor, Chrisanthi Kaliviotis.

First, a must-needed hair pit-stop to smooth out my strands using the Dyson Supersonic.

With a French-inspired outfit by Jacquemus, I chose an equally retro look when it came to my hair; a bouncy, ’70s flick that fell naturally.

At Leo & Lin, hair followed suit, with natural movement reminiscent of holiday hair.

Hair worked with the natural texture of the model – there were cute pixies and low ponies…

And natural curls were not only embraced, but celebrated.

One of the highlights however, was the modern chignon, pulled low at the nape of the neck and twisted into a bun.

And to top it all off, a silk ribbon tied eloquently around model faces like a retro headband, à la Riviera dressing. Et voilà.
