It’s been a big 24 hours for Australian fashion. Yesterday, Aje kicked off the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week party with an inspired take on Australiana; a beautiful mash-up of flora, fauna and jumping kangaroos. Today, Bec & Bridge made us rethink the 70s (and 80s) with retro florals, block colour and thigh-grazing boots, P.E Nation soaked models in Speedo’s for an Aussie collaboration worth taking note of, and Matteau satiated all kinds of wanderlust with an eternally nomadic collection that reminded us of the good times (summer).
Here, team GRAZIA share their wish list from Day One and Two of MBFWA.

“I want to live that life and I want it all!”

Aje’s puff-sleeve mini dress
“This season, Aje gave their exisiting puffy sleeve silhouette an upgrade; cut-out the back and belt it. I’m obsessed with this dress.”

matteau’s black bikini + maxi skirt
“It was hard to pick one piece from Matteau’s impossibly chic collection, but this bra-skirt combo is what I’d like to look like in Mykonos, Spritz in hand. The perfect criss-cross, a little puff and A. Emery gladiator flats; European summer sorted. Can I have the abs too, please?”

Bec & Bridge’s Thigh-High White Boots
“I saw Cindy Bruna in her MAJOR white Y/Project boots two weeks ago and became obsessed. So these by Bec & Bridge now fulfil my statement boot dreams.”
