Fashion’s favourite illustrator, Megan Hess, may just have conjured the dreamiest sleep wardrobe options you could gift yourself all year. (Perfect timing given daytime pyjama dressing is one of the hottest trends this season.)

The Melbourne-based artist, décor designer and GRAZIA market editor – who’s as elegant in person as any of her stylishly sketched characters (check out her Instagram and you’ll agree) – has teamed up with Australian loungewear brand Papinelle to help create a set of sleepwear adorned with a custom cream and pink artwork in her signature style.

“I dreamt of an imaginary luxury hotel called ‘The Grand Hotel Deluxe’ with a chic, elegant lady gazing out from a beautiful balcony,” says Hess of the fictional character she based the print’s illustration on. “She’s surrounded by delicate palms, pink peonies and tiny butterflies sipping champagne without a care in the world.”

The range of cotton/silk blend pyjamas, nightie and robe start at $129.95 and will no doubt all be an addition to Hess’s own “quite extensive” personal Papinelle collection. “I’ve always loved their beautiful, soft, dreamy prints, so it was such a pleasure to collaborate with them and create my own design.”
