Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have made their first public outing as a duo, heading to Wimbledon to watch the Ladies Final overnight.

The sisters-in-law sat in the stadium to watch Serena Williams – a close friend of Meghan’s who attended her May wedding – take on Angelique Kerber. Williams, who welcomed her first child in September, lost to the German.

Kate wore a feminine, fitted black and white dress, while Meghan went with a man-style blue and white striped shirt tucked into cream pants.

The duchesses, both 36, clapped and chatted throughout the match. They certainly have enough to talk about, after the Queen met with Donald and Melania Trump the day before.

Thousands have protested Trump’s visit across the UK, from London to Edinburgh, calling for resistance to his inflammatory rhetoric and policies regarding immigrants, refugees, women and Muslims.

It’s no wonder Kate Middleton didn’t feel the need to meet Trump – he once tweeted “who wouldn’t?” in response to reports a photographer had taken unsolicited, long-range topless photos of her.
