While Meghan Markle has left acting behind to take up Duchess duties, she named Julia Roberts as the actress who influenced her career. In a newly re-surfaced interview with Glamour magazine, Markle listed the Academy Award-winning star as one of ten women who changed her life.

Roberts was included among Madeline Albright, novelist Toni Morrison and Markle’s mother Doria Ragland. “[Roberts] was the first person I saw onscreen and thought, ‘That looks like so much fun; I wanna do that,’” Markle wrote. “When I was younger, someone once told me, ‘You kind of look like Julia Roberts in profile.’ It was the best compliment of all time.”

Roberts is busy doing the (fashionable) promotional rounds in New York City for her new film Ben Is Back, a role where she plays the desperate mother of a drug-addict (her son is played by rising star Lucas Hedges). The film is directed by Hedges’ Oscar-nominee father Peter and Roberts’ performance already has critics talking Oscars.

One journalist asked Roberts, 51, about Markle’s compliment to which the OG Pretty Woman responded with delight. “I am going to be floating on that all night!” she exclaimed.
