Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have answered our prayers and made another public outing together, travelling to Wales as a couple for the first time.

The world’s most talked-about couple arrived at Cardiff Castle by train an hour late, but were still greeted with excitement by a crowd of hundreds that waited in the cold to see them.

Meghan looked chic in head-to-toe black, a trench cinched at the waist over cigarette trousers and heeled ankle boots.

She later changed into a tweed, almost-but-not-quite-off-the-shoulder jacket for an indoor affair where they tasted traditional Welsh cakes.

There’s just over four months to go until Harry and Meghan marry at Windsor Castle, and honestly, the day couldn’t come soon enough.
