Meghan Markle spent her birthday at a wedding, where Prince Harry was the best man.

The Duchess of Sussex, who turned 37 on the 4th of August, mingled with fellow guests at the nuptials of Harry’s childhood friend Charlie Van Straubenzee and his bride Daisy Jenks in Frensham, an English village 90 minutes south-west of London.

Spending her first birthday as a wife and royal family member celebrating someone else is definitely a cool move and deserving of serious brownie points, we think.

Meghan no doubt also spent the day tuning out the noise from her estranged half-sister Samantha Markle, who has relentlessly attacked her on social media.

Samantha took Meghan’s birthday as an opportunity to criticise her estrangement from father Thomas Markle, tweeting:

“Happy Birthday Meg! It would be so lovely and appropriate of you to send DAD a BELATED birthday card for his July 18th [cake emoji] @KensingtonRoyal Cheers!”

Somehow, we think Meghan was probably having too much fun to notice.
