What scares Mel B the most? Victoria Beckham’s refusal to do the Spice Girls reunion tour.
Mel, AKA Scary Spice attended Heidi Klum’s Halloween party in New York City dressed up as Beckham – and not in a flattering way.
Brown arrived at the party wearing a cardboard mask of Victoria’s face, a little black dress – Beckham’s signature look as Posh Spice – and a sign that read “I am not going on tour”.
The sign is obviously in reference to Beckham’s repeated refusals to do a Spice Girls reunion tour – she’s the only former member refusing to take part.
Mel was joined by her friend Gary Madatyan, who was dressed up as David Beckham holding a sign that read “Please, please, please, do it for the Spice Girls fans” – just in case anyone couldn’t tell who Mel had dressed up as.
Oh, the shade.
Brown has publicly called out Beckham over her refusal to tour on several occasions. When asked about it on US morning television in June, she snapped:
“She’s always saying that. Stop it. We are touring. Should I have really said that out loud? Yes, we are going to be doing performances together for sure.”
When she appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden in September, Mel reiterated:
“We’re going to be going on tour. Us four for sure. We’ll see about [Posh], but us four are definitely going to be on tour. She might join us for a few [shows]. She better.”
