If you have a spare 15 minutes this morning, you’d be hard pressed to find a better way to start your Friday than by watching First Lady Michelle Obama try her hand at James Corden’s signature social media branding exercise nonpareil, Carpool Karaoke.
The incumbent (and GOAT) FLOTUS joined the Late Late Show host for a “special tour” of the White House grounds, warming up with a little Stevie Wonder before graduating to far more serious business: that is, the business of Beyoncé. The two then discuss their Secret Service code names (hers is Renaissance; Barack’s is Renegade, apparently) and Snapchat’s use as a tool of diplomacy, before being joined by the First Lady of hip-hop, Missy Elliot.
