And just like that, it’s over. Nearly two months after Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter first got together, they’ve called it quits. 

An insider shared with People magazine that the ladies decided to part ways, with Miley supposedly not wanting a serious relationship right now. 

“She and Kaitlynn spent every day together and it just wanted anything that Miley wanted to continue doing,” the source said. “She wants to focus on her career.”

The ladies are reportedly still good friends and the split was amicable. 

On Saturday, Miley posed for a selfie alone, holding her one of her dogs, and posed for another photo with her sister Brandi, brother Trace and mum Tish. 

She went on to perform at the iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas later that night in a tight leather getup with her current favourite wet hair look, and if Miley’s hurtin’, well, she ain’t showing it.

Carter and Cyrus were last seen together a week ago in LA, where they were reportedly living together until the split. 

Liam continues to be keeping a low profile in Byron Bay and hasn’t posted on Instagram for three weeks, although Lindsay Lohan appears to be keen should he feel like wading back into the dating game. 

Kaitlynn was in New York for fashion week last week and now has a million followers on Instagram thanks to her and Miley’s brief, but very high profile romance. 

And Kaitlynn’s ex Brody Jenner has happily moved on himself, with new squeeze Josie Canseco making it onto his Instagram.
