Baby It’s Cold Outside isn’t the only Christmas song proving problematic in the post #MeToo era.

Santa Baby is another carol that hasn’t aged well, gender-ly speaking, with the singer apparently trying to seduce Santa in exchange for lavish gifts because she’s been a “good girl”, if you read between the lines.

On The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon this week, Miley Cyrus performed an updated version of the Christmas track that any feminist can proudly sing along to.

In a sketch with host Fallon and her musical collaborator Mark Ronson, she sings:

“Listen Santa to what I say/ A girl’s best friend is equal pay

Stop interrupting me when I talk

And don’t text me pictures of your—

Santa baby, I’d love to know my ass won’t get grabbed /At work

By some ignorant jerk/ Tell the dirtbags, to put away their chimneys tonight.”

Now, if she could just re-write the lyrics to Baby, It’s Cold Outside
