Meet French-born, New York-based makeup artist, Morgane Martini. Why? She’s about to become your new beauty bestie (Instagram bestie, obviously).

The recently appointed Marc Jacobs Beauty Global Artistry Ambassador is our newly discovered beauty obsession who showcases every kind of beauty look on a diverse range of subjects, demonstrating the adaptability of colour, texture and style on every woman.

Reading like a ‘70s Vogue Italia cover, Martini’s aesthetic appears to be very much inspired by retro makeup looks from decades past, anything from the ‘60s to ‘90s is her bread and butter (or kajal and kabuki). An electric slick of colour across eyes, a structured liner on lids, an exaggerated blush, or a souped-up juicy lip – Martini is an obvious lover of colour and theatre. With an Instagram account that reads like a rolodex of Hollywood (think Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk, Carolyn Murphy, Shanina Shaik, Ashley Graham – even Brooke Shields), the famous faces come packaged in cute polaroids washed in nostalgia, and quite frankly, we’re obsessed.

Brushes at the ready; if this isn’t a major makeup mood, we don’t know what is. (You’re welcome).
