Here’s a lesson for any brand looking to overhaul its image for a big style comeback: endear yourself to Virgil Abloh, aka the busiest man (exception perhaps Karl Lagerfeld) in fashion today.

The architect-turned-designer, sometimes music video director, longtime artistic partner of Kanye West, creator of the sneaker of the century, and now head of menswear at Louis Vuitton, also happens to own one of the coolest labels in the game.

(Side note: can you believe it’s been just four years since his first Off-White runway show?)

Abloh is also a master at the successful mainstream brand partnership, having recently worked with the likes of Nike and Ikea, as well as Moncler and even the New York City Ballet. So whats the difference between this sweatshirt and a plain Championship version costing one-fifth of the price? Those signature duct tape-like stripes and a hint of the Master Abloh magic. Champion by name, champions by association.
