There’s no chance of Harry Styles’ head getting too big after he was brought back down to size in spectacular fashion by the one and only Stevie Nicks. The Fleetwood Mac singer and cultural icon was speaking about Styles at the 34th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in New York on Friday night, after the pair had performed a rendition of Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around, the New York Post reports.
“When he decided to make a solo record from NSYNC — sorry, not NSYNC,” she said, before correcting herself. “I’m never going to live that one down, I know.”
Perhaps we can forgive Nicks’ mix-up just this once: the legendary vocalist and songwriter had just become the first woman in history to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice, recognising different stages of her career.
And it’s unlikely Harry’s adoration for the Go Your Own Way singer could be dampened after the way he described her on-stage at the ceremony:
“She is everything you have ever wanted in a lady, in a lover and in a friend,” the 25-year-old declared. “Stephanie Nicks, I love you, we all do, and that is true, Stevie.”
Lover? Care to explain that one, Harry?
